Returns, Replacements & Cancellations

We accept refunds and exchanges within 30 days of purchase. Our policy states that you have 30 days in which to return a product for a full refund where goods are unused. After this period we can’t offer you a refund, only credit or exchange would be offered at our discretion. Delivery costs to return the goods to us are not refundable except where the item is found to be faulty.

If a product becomes faulty after 30 days you will be required to follow specific manufacturer warranty procedures, unless otherwise stated. To obtain a full refund within 30 days, you must return the goods in perfect condition. The goods must not be used or damaged - and in the original packaging. If your goods are not in this condition, this could void your return request. If goods have been used, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee as appropriate, up to a maximum of 30% of the purchase price. Any delivery costs incurred for returning unwanted used goods, for an exchange or refund, will be at your charge.

Please Note: We are unable to cancel, refund or exchange perishable goods such as food or drink. is required to provide the statutory warranty against defects and the warranty against hidden defects in accordance with English law, for all items sold on the Website. However, this warranty does not cover problems caused by negligence, damage or inappropriate use of the item by the customer. draws your attention to defects and problems which can occur with misconfiguration or mishandling of equipment and will not be liable for problems or faults arising from installation, customisation or modification of original parts supplied.

Special order bikes and accessories.
If we have to order in a bike or accessories worth more than £250, and you choose to cancel the order for any reason or fail to collect the bike or accessories within 3 months, buyabike reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of 10% of the value of the purchase and re-sell any items. This is to cover build costs and half of the restocking charge that we would incur from our suppliers.
Purchases and Deposits.
We will hold a bike until collection for an agreed deposit. If a bike has not been collected within 3 months of the agreed collection date, we reserve the right to keep your deposit and re-sell the bike.
Workshop Repairs.
Any bikes that have been repaired in our workshop and which are currently being stored in our storage facility with an outstanding balance due, have 12 months from the date of repair to be collected and the balance paid. Failure to do so will result in the bike being disposed of.

In summary you can return any item within 30 days of receipt for a refund, or to exchange it for a different item, size, or colour as long as you meet the following conditions:

Unless damaged or defective, we accept the return of items only if they are unopened (except in cases where the item has to be tried for fit) and in their original condition. In the case of clothing or other items which have to be tried for fit, any returns must be in their original condition and with any labels or tags still attached.

If you wish to return an item you must first contact us via email on the following address, quoting your order number: to obtain the returns authorisation. We'll notify you via e-mail of the return process, and of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. Under no circumstances will a return be accepted without a valid returns authorisation.

Return Procedure

  • Login to your account using the link "Sign in" on the top right of the homepage.
  • From the homepage click the link in the footer "Orders and Returns"
  • You will receive a response with the outcome within 72 hours.


When placing an order you agree that all the information given is accurate and complete. You will receive an acknowledgement email confirming receipt of your order and an Order ID: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

By placing an order, you make an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected. We may or may not accept your offer at our discretion. If we cannot accept your order we will contact you by email and shall cancel the order before payment is captured. In the event any amount is captured by us, we reserve the right to cancel and refund any amount already paid to us. We will always make every effort to supply you with the products listed in your order confirmation. Some products may not be available in-store and may require us to order into stock.

All prices listed on are correct at the time of entering. Your credit card or debit card will be charged at the point of purchase unless your items are pre-order items in which case we will not charge your credit or debit card until the items are back in stock and ready to be dispatched.

If a genuine error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price. In the event that you order an item and the price published on is incorrect for any reason, we will email you to inform you that we have not accepted your order, and shall refund any amount already paid to us.

You can view your orders by logging into your account (top right), providing you chose to register during checkout. You can also visit the "Orders and Returns" section by clicking the link in the footer.
